Modern Hippie

Thanks to my friends Ashlee and Mickie, I now am pushing myself the extra mile I've always procrastinated reaching. Always have I wanted to be Earth friendly, eco friendly, more caring about the mind, body, and spirit, the surroundings around me, issues like poverty, diseases , etc... Yet I've never really done anything. My dream of traveling to Africa to volunteer has seemed shattered, but now I am reallzing in all these turn of events, that this might all be what has needed to happen for me to actually go and take this oppurtunity by the horns (please excuse the lame phrase).

I've signed up to go to Africa before, but put that off hold more than once. But now, it is my dream becoming a reality, apossible task. I'm soaring off into my religion, my beliefs, my instinct... What I truly want in my life. What I can look back on one day and be so greatful I fufilled it instead of only dreaming it. Small steps are all that's needed to continue on this process. I know in my heart this is what I'm here for. Making a difference. In anyway I possibly can.
